Growing up I had a huge Costco bin of Barbie dolls and piles of clothes and accessories for them. I would sit and play with them for hours, dressing them up for different occasions and making sure my Barbie’s outfit was perfect. Now as an adult, I get to be the Barbie doll and dress myself up! Naturally , when I saw the Barbie movie was coming out I knew I absolutely had to host an event for me and my plus size Barbie friends so we could dress up and watch the movie together.
Our Barbie party started with some lunch at Stone Brewing in Liberty Station. We had a Barbie photo booth, goodie bags, and giveaways! Everyone got to take their own Barbie photo box photos and received a goodie bag with all sorts of amazing gifts. I recently purchased a Cricut Maker 3 machine so I made a bunch of fun items including a handheld fan with my brand logo and a bunch of Barbie decorated accessories and some stickers too!
This plus size Barbie party also had some amazing sponsored products in the goodie bags. We had SmartSweets sent some sourmelon bites, Sugar Mama gifted us some homemade caramels and Megababe sent mini versions of their deodorant!
The goodie bags also featured some other Barbie themed products like Barbie hair accessories from Kitsch and pink lemonade by Swoon. What more could you ask for?
Before we headed over to the movie there was the matter of giveaways! I couldn’t believe how AMAZING our giveaways were for this event:

Once it was time to head over to the movie we made our way to the Lot in liberty station. We got to sit back and relax while servers came and took our orders so they could bring our food and drink right to our seat. Not only do I highly recommend the Barbie movie, but I also love this theater and it’s an experience like no other!
