Hey, Fly Friends! Perhaps you’ve been seeing JessaKae all over the place and wondering to yourself if their pieces are worth the price. Maybe you’re trying to decide which style and fit is right for you. Either way, this honest JessaKae review should help you clear up any questions you might have!
I’ve been a customer as well as an affiliate for a while now and I have had the chance to try out a lot of their dresses. I decided to compile all my thoughts on JessaKae plus size dresses in this blog post here for you so you can learn all about them too!
1. JessaKae Review – Fit

As a plus size woman I know how frustrating it can be to shop at a new store and find the right fit. Each retailer seems to have a new way of fitting and it can take some time to get it right. My advice is to always know your measurements and check the size chart. With JessaKae specifically, they note how the garment fits in the product description.
Another place to check is the product reviews. People will provide feedback on each individual item which can be very helpful. My experience has been pretty spot on with how I order from Torrid – I order a 4 at Torrid and a 4X at JessaKae. JessaKae offers sizes up to 6X making their fashion very inclusive and plus size friendly!
There was only one dress I had to size up in and it even said in the description that it runs small! Something else to keep in mind is the dress material. If it is stretchy and reviews say it runs big, I will order one size down.
2. Quality of JessaKae Plus Size Dresses

I was blown away with the quality of JessaKae dresses. Their dresses have quality fabric and lots of fluff when you are looking for something more dramatic. Something I noticed is sometimes the dresses are actually a little bit heavy because of all the fabric, but I don’t mind if it means a quality dress swoosh!
I also feel very secure that the fabric is not see-through and it will last after lots of wear. Bonus: some of their dresses even come with pockets!
3. Review of JessaKae Styles

If you are a floral lover like me then you will be in heaven shopping at JessaKae! While a lot of their styles do offer floral designs, they also offer plenty of solid color dresses and even other embellishments like stars and butterflies.
One thing that really stands out about JessaKae is that they offer modest plus size dresses which can be hard to come by. Their designs typically do not show too much cleavage and they are rarely very short. If you prefer to stay a little more covered up then there is definitely something for you at JessaKae!
4. JessaKae Dress Pricing Review

When comparing JessaKae to similar retailers, their prices on are on par in my opinion. This doesn’t mean that they are affordable for everyone, we all have different budgets that we are working with.

5. JessaKae Returns/Exchanges Review

If you are located in Salt Lake City, Utah then you probably don’t need to worry about this as much. You’re a lucky duck and get to visit JessaKae in store to find your perfect fit! For most of us though, we need to purchase online. Every now and then you mind find you don’t like the fit, the style isn’t right for you, etc. When that happens you of course want to look into return or exchange options.
It’s a little trickier than you might be used to. According to the JessaKae policy, you will need to return your item within 20 days of placement of your original order. If you are a long time online shopper like myself then you know that packing and shipping alone can take a couple weeks, leaving you with a very narrow window.
What I recommend is trying on your dress as soon as it arrives so you know if you are going to keep it or send it back. If you decide you do want to move forward with a return you will receive a JessaKae e-gift card valued at the original cost of your order, less the cost of the shipping label which is $8.
While this return policy isn’t as generous as other retailers, it’s understandable. They are a small business and processing returns is very expensive. I’ll admit I didn’t like it at first but now that I know I can order 4X every time, I haven’t had a single issue with the fit!
Remember to always check the return policy of any retailer before placing your order! Sometimes places change things so it’s always better to be safe rather than sorry.
6. JessaKae Review
Overall I think JessaKae is a great plus size fashion option, there aren’t many retailers that go up to a size 6X! If they are out of your budget there are ways to purchase JessaKae dresses second hand.
If you do purchase online, keep in mind their return policy has a quick timeframe and they subtract $8 for the return shipping label.
