Hi Fly Friends! We talked about fall and winter trends a few posts back and you all wanted to see some more options for wide width ballet flats. This roundup has a bunch of different styles. Make sure to click around because many of these styles come in multiple colors, too! I love being able to show you wide width options for styles like ballet flats because they are such a traditionally narrow shoe. These babies can be hard to find in wide width styles but we’re going to go through nine in this post! Are you happy that flats are back in style, or over it? Let me know in the comments!
1. Black Strappy Flats

I’m seeing the straps across the front in multiple styles. I think that’s because it reminds us more of actual ballet shoes. This detail is so fun and cute and can also pair really well with edgy styles. Mixing and matching cutesy and edgy items will always look cool because of the contrast! These have a pointed toe. I do think that the rounded toe is more traditionally associated with “ballet” styles, but I love the pointed toe too, and made sure to give you some options!
2. Silver Wide Width Ballet Flats
LINKED HERE | $26 | Up to Size 13WW
I love that these come in silver! This one-band and buckle combo is definitely a trending style right now. You can wear these solo, but they would also look so cute with classic black tights or a fun color that you can see peeking through under the band. These are the perfect statement and/or holiday shoes! If you’re a babe who wears silver jewelry, then these shoes will always match your outfit. If you usually shy away from statement pieces, these are a great pick because they’ll always match with your everyday accessories.
3. Brown Bow Flats
LINKED HERE | $26 | Up to Size 13WW
This is the style I think of when I think back to the ballet flats we were all wearing in the early 2000s. The little bow is iconic, especially with the gold hardware at the ends. These come in a few different colors. If you dress in more cool tones I’d suggest grabbing a classic black pair! As I always say, brown is perfect for all of my boho babes out there.
4. Two Tone Wide Width Ballet Flats
LINKED HERE | $26 | Up to Size 13WW
This is the same pair from number three but in a different colorway. This style really does give the best of both worlds (shout out to Hannah Montana). I compare the nude and black combo to getting tortoiseshell frames for your glasses. There are both brown and black tones in there, so they will truly go with everything and a neutral option but also manage to make a statement on their own. These are a great addition to your closet and a great workwear shoe.
5. Green Velvet Flats
LINKED HERE | $26 | Up to Size 13WW
Okay, I might have spoken too soon with the silver pair at number two. These dark green velvet flats might be the perfect holiday shoes! If you want something with a more themed and specific holiday feel, these are perfect for you! I love the details of the open sides and crisscross straps along the top. Pair these with your favorite holiday dress and you’re good to go.
6. Mesh Polka Dot Flats
LINKED HERE | $26 | Up to Size 13WW
This is another classic style that I feel like we all saw so often in the early 2000s. I’m having Forever 21 flashbacks! These are definitely familiar to anyone who had a twee style era. They’re classic black but have some super fun details that give them some extra oomph. These also give a very vintage, pinup, rockabilly feel. You can never go wrong with Torrid shoes. Make sure that you check your sizes and measurements, because Torrid shoes are all extra wide width! If you’re used to sizing up, that is usually not a problem with Torrid’s shoe sizes.
7. Black Wide Width Ballet Flats
LINKED HERE | $25 | Up to Size 12
These remind me the most of actual ballet shoes! The scrunchy details, the elastic bands over the top of the foot, and the little bow at the toes. These also come in light pink if you want them to really look like point shoes and the classic ballerina in the music box look. I love flats because they look great with any outfit. You can dress these up and down so easily and wear them with seriously anything. Trousers, jeans, dresses, skirts, you name it.
8. White Ballet Flats
LINKED HERE | $28 | Up to Size 11
I know they have the teeniest tiniest heels, but look how precious and amazing these are for all my babes getting married soon! You can totally wear these for other events or everyday outfits, but I really love them for wedding events. The fact that the bow is made of a gem and glitter is an added sparkly bonus.
9. Pink Wide Width Ballet Flats
LINKED HERE | $23 | Up to Size 13
These are the perfect shade of ballet slipper pink. Again with the bow details, you really can’t go wrong there. These are super cute and perfect for all of my pink lovers out there. They look so cute with jeans and even trousers for work and obviously add some fun to any skirt or dress. ASOS has so many fun, unique, and trendy wide width shoe options. Make sure to click around and find your faves!
I hope that you found the perfect pair of wide width ballet flats to add to your wardrobe! You can wear these shoes all year long and with so many different outfits and style combinations. Let me know what trend roundup you want to see next this fall and winter in the comments!
