What your daily wake-up routine probably looks like: Wake up. Throw on some clothes. Dash out the door or wander over to your work from home corner. Repeat.
What your daily wake-up routine *should* look like: Wake up. Look in the mirror. Send your big beautiful body some love. Go be that badass bitch you know you are. Repeat.
Okay, be honest. When was the last time you looked in a mirror and spoke love to your body out loud and on purpose?
When was the last time you appreciated your soft belly? Or thanked your thick thighs? Or blew kisses to your dimpled bum?
This week you’re invited to join me in sending radical self-love to our bodies every day after we wake up.
Because it’s about time we looked in the mirror and loved what we saw, society’s fatphobia be damned!
Don’t know how to start? You didn’t think I’d leave you hanging, did you?
Wake up. Stand in front of your mirror. Put your hands on your body or over your heart. And shower your body in love with as many or as few of these affirmations as you want to….
So remember: Wake up, love yourself, kick ass, repeat.
Are there any body-love affirmations you would add to this list?
LOVE this so much! I like doing affirmations but mine usually look like saying 3 things I like about myself or 3 things I’m grateful for my body for. This list gives me some more morning mantras to try out! 😘
