Hey Fly Friends, I can’t believe it’s springtime already! Here in San Diego it means the flowers are starting to bloom and the occasional rain is over, and of course – Plus Size Spring Fashion! I have been taking advantage of the nice weather and getting out and about with some new plus size spring outfits and going antique shopping. I have also been getting into some more crafting that I can’t wait to share with you. So without further ado, let’s dive into all things spring!
This gorgeous fit-and-flare dress is to die for and perfect for plus size spring outfits. It is made with a super soft knit fabric that’s so comfy and luxurious. Oh, by the way, it has pockets! Something to note is the length was perfect for me but might be short for my taller friends. For reference I am 5’2” and wearing size 26/28. Check out the video below to see how I styled it for spring. You can shop the whole outfit along with other plus size spring dresses HERE.
Experience comfort and style with this night set with feathers. It’s made of white fabric with pink gingham accents and features a v-neckline with a darling collar, functional buttons, and pockets for convenience. The long-sleeved top and wide-leg pants provide a perfect fit with an elastic waistband. Enjoy a peaceful night in this luxurious night set. This peach ring set from Toby & Linus is made with a soft, buttery fabric that both you and your pet will love. Make sure to check out the other fun clothing prints that are offered as well as the matching hair accessories to curate the perfect plus size spring outfits! I’ve truly never seen something like this before and can’t wait for more designs in the future.
4. Spring Antique Finds
I found the cutest items at La Mesa Antique Mall, and they look so good displayed on my TV stand. Shopping for items that need a new home is such a fun time and it always feels like a treasure hunt! My favorite of all the pieces from this shopping trip is an adorable bunny cookie jar – I even found some items for sale that are similar HERE and HERE.
I’m also in love with the delicate and ornate Fabergé eggs, they are the perfect complement to the bunny cookie jar. And I was also able to find some adorable egg trinkets that are just as adorable HERE and HERE.
Also, I sourced some more items that are similar to what I picked up so you can curate your antique style collection:
Let me know If you’re looking for any other antique-like items and I would be happy to source some for you!
5. DIY Rosette Tapered Candle for Spring
This candle painting project was so easy, all it takes is a little bit of patience. There are only a few supplies you need: candles, paintbrushes and a lighter. Make sure you are using paintbrushes you don’t mind ruining because you’re likely going to singe the bristles on the flame. Follow the step-by-step video below to see how I made these candles look like they are covered with tiny little roses!
By the way, I purchased everything from the dollar store but in case you don’t have one nearby I sourced everything you need into an Amazon list HERE.
Also, if you’re as in love with my cherub candle holders as I am, then you might love these similar ones HERE. You might also be able to find some one-off antique options on eBay.
