The most popular and easiest way to style a plus size little black dress is with an all-black look. Choose your metal hue, I chose gold, and accessorize with that hue only for a classic and classy bad bitch vibe. These gold braided hoops are a piece of jewelry that you will wear again and again and is great for everyday or special occasions. Of course, this matches the gold chain on the envelope-style crossbody/clutch.

Wide-width black heels are another must-have. The great thing about an all-black look is that every piece will pair well with other items in your closet and give you the versatility of creating tons of other looks. I chose closed-toe heels as we’re heading into the cold-weather seasons, but here’s an open-toe option for those of you in warmer climates like me! I always like to add some texture when I’m rocking a monochrome look, so I added this belted leather long-line coat from Eloquii with a bit of a puff sleeve.

Plus Size Little Black Dress Look #2 Neutral Royalty

Whoever said that black and brown don’t go together is just plain wrong! Mixing and matching these two rival neutrals together creates a very happy and very stylish marriage. Another trick for my warm climate babes when you want to layer with a sweater is to throw on a half-sweater over your little black dress. This one is a turtle neck and comes in multiple colors! Tie it all together with these amazing black and brown wide-width snakeskin boots, and again make sure to accessorize! Since we’re doing mixed neutrals, I chose a mixed metal chain belt from ASOS to add some bling and accentuate the waist. Finish the look with a top knot and any pair of these gold hoops. Black and white is one of the most iconic color combinations ever! You know I had to pull out the winter accessories for this one. All of the additions to this little black dress look are from Target! Budget-friendly, and easily accessible. Wide-width and wide calf knee-high boots for $40 dollars y’all! This is not a drill! Run don’t walk, because these will sell out fast! Layer your little black dress with this fuzzy sherpa coat and accessorize with this designer-inspired black and gold crossbody purse and this adorable felt captain’s hat. Do these hats remind anyone else of Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy? I’m into it. This look is chic and comfortable, which is sometimes a rare combo to find in plus size fashion.

#4 Casual Plus Size Little Black Dress

To prove the plus size little black dress’s versatility, I made sure to include a fire casual look for y’all to try and Old Navy came through! How happy are we that Old Navy now carries up to size 30 online and that their plus size items are now in store?! For this cute casual look, I chose this denim shirt which I think is a classic layering piece that some people tend to overlook! Depending on the activity of the day, a full-blown denim jacket can be too hot for me. Denim shirt to the rescue! I had to throw in a little glam with these amazing gold glittery slip-ons. I tied it all together with the blush pink plaid scarf and matching beanie! Pro tip: Wearing a beanie means way less time doing your hair, fam!

Look #5 Pop of Color

You already know I had to add in a pop of color for this plus size little black dress! Are you surprised that this is Court’s favorite with all of the pink? First of all, the number one plus size leather jacket belongs to ELOQUII. They win the award. They’re taking home the gold. This jacket comes in so many fun colors along with the classic black brown and white, so you can do any pop of color you want! I can never resist a Kate Spade bag, let alone this gorgeous hot pink crocodile textured beauty.

Pairing a plus size little black dress with a bold lip is always a good idea. For this all-pink look, I chose the NYX Liquid Suede lipstick in the shade Pink Lust.
