In case you haven’t seen Bridgerton let me tell you a little about it and who Penelope is! Bridgerton on Netflix is a historical fiction-romance set in the world of Regency era London. It follows the story of the Bridgerton family, mainly Daphne Bridgerton who is being launched into society to look for a suitor. Penelope is best friends with Daphne’s sister and (spoiler alert) is revealed to be Lady Whistledown – the author of a scandalous society newsletter.

The Featherington family’s color is yellow which is why Penelope is often shown in yellow dresses. Of course this fit perfectly with the Hans Christian Puff Dress from Selkie. For this outfit I knew the dress alone wouldn’t be enough to bring it all together. That’s why I made sure to grab this yellow crystal necklace and yellow crystal earrings, white lace gloves, white feather pen and vintage journal. I had a lot of fun pretending to write in the journal and look like I was secretly writing down all of the ton’s juicy gossip.
