Plus size vacation outfits for the actual travel portion of your journey have to be comfy! I can’t stand being uncomfortable on a plane or in the car for a road trip. You want to make sure your outfit has stretch, is soft and comfortable, and it’s something you can nap in! I love wearing plus size matching activewear sets when traveling because they have the added bonus of being moisture-wicking. I don’t know about you, but from packing to running to a connecting flight I am sweating. This can also be a huge help if you are traveling somewhere tropical so that you’re not sweating your butt off and uncomfortable once you get there. I also made sure to include plus size bike shorts, soft tees, plus size joggers, pullovers, and even a plus size sweatshirt dress that I think will be perfect for travel!

Dresses are the easiest plus size vacation outfits to pack! Because they’re a one-item outfit, you can fit tons of dresses in your suitcase and they require little effort when getting dressed every day. I will wear dresses from all over the spectrum, sexy see-through, fun cut-outs, plus sized midi with sleeves, off-the-shoulder, easy sundresses, plus size halter tops, plus size maxi dresses, and cute fruit prints. You can wear these dresses the lounge by the pool, go out to dinner, have a date night, or hit the club.

Plus Size Swimsuits

If you haven’t been swimsuit shopping in a while, you may be pleasantly surprised at your options! Most plus size retailers that you know and love have branched out into swim because they know how high the demand is! There are tons of styles with lots of different coverage and support options! Vintage-inspired one-pieces, strapless, wrap-style, ruffles, high-waisted bottoms, sexy cut-outs, stripes, florals, animal print, you name it! Casual Plus Size Vacation Outfits

For everyday adventures and casual vacay days, the best plus size vacation outfits are soft, breathable, and easily mixed and matched! I love buying matching sets and then packing a few extra tops and bottoms that can all be made into a bunch of different outfits. Skirts, plus size rompers, and plus size bike shorts with classic tees are always good casual vacay options too! Monochrome sets, textured items, and fun prints mixed and matched with your basic tanks and tees can create tons of outfit options and lighten your packing load.

Shorts have been a plus size enemy for too long! Make sure you have your MegaBabe thigh rescue on you and you’ll be chafe-free and good to go! This is another clothing category that used to have really poor search results, but now there are tons of options! Skorts, soft shorts, utility, plus size colored denim, fun prints, plus size daisy dukes, high-waisted, and classic denim. I love having shorts to throw on when I’m at the pool or the beach with my bathing suit top. Adding shorts to your suit makes an easy outfit to go grab boardwalk snacks or pop into a shop.

Plus size Vacation Tops

Whether you’re vacationing at Myrtle Beach or Malibu, there’s a top in this mix for you! I love wearing plus size oversized tees, crop tops, and classic flowy tanks and florals for casual vacay outfits. But there are always nights on vacation where you want to feel sexy and fun! That’s where the plus size halter tops, satin, sequins, and wrap tops come in. These are also great options for birthday, honeymoon, or bachelorette vacations where you want to be dressed up!
