Valentine’s Day is on its way, so let’s talk about it, Fly Friends! This is just another piece of the fashion world that people may not know plus size babes struggle with. There are always jokes about plus size friends hanging out by the jewelry section in stores while their friends browsed the clothing racks at the mall.
Valentine’s Day Jewelry
The truth is that the only things in that section we could really look at were earrings. A lot of times necklaces have chains that are too short to sit comfortable or sit higher than the design is meant to lay on the neck. Bracelets won’t clasp. Rings are all midi or pinkie rings. Even with earrings, there are a lot of babes who need a longer post for a thicker earlobe. That’s why I’ve put together a list of my favorite size-inclusive jewelry brands, many of which also offer custom sizing and would be perfect Valentine’s Day gifts for your friends, your boo, or yourself!
Chouette Designs Size Inclusive Jewelry
Chouette Designs offers plus size rings sizes 4.5-13 and plus size bracelets lengths 6″-8″. Their plus size necklaces are typically 19″/20″ and they also carry earrings. They are women and LGBTQIA+ owned brand that offers custom sizing for all of their demi-fine jewelry. This means that if a piece on their ready-to-ship website doesn’t fit your measurements, all you have to do is take a simple survey on their website and they will make you a custom-fit piece! Chouette, pronounced “shoo-wet,” is French for “owl,” and also means anything cool, hip, or chic. They use gorgeous gemstones and delicate geometric shapes to create luxe, classic plus size jewelry! These are dainty classic pieces that your Valentine can show off every day since they pair well with any outfit.
Automic Gold Size Inclusive Jewelry
Automic gold is a Queer and Trans BIPOC owned and operated fine jewelry company! They make amazing pieces including plus size rings sizes 2-16 including 1/4 sizes, plus size necklaces 15″-21″, plus size bracelets 5.5″-8.5″, earrings in pairs or singles, and even solo charms and luxe plus size body jewelry for pierced and unpierced bods. As if they weren’t already cool enough, they also offer custom pieces and custom sizing. All you have to do is click the custom link on their page, and it will pull up your email with the questions they need to be answered to start working on your piece! They carry luxe pronoun jewelry, so if your person is queer, something from Automic Gold can make a very thoughtful Valentine’s Day gift. Automic Gold also offers custom engraving for many of their pieces you can personalize a piece for your Valentine!
Nature’s Twist
Nature’s Twist is a beautiful jewelry brand that works with ethically sourced gemstones and crystals. All of these pieces are one of a kind and all plus size necklaces come in any chain length of your choosing from 18″-20″. Their earrings come with these adjustable hooks that can easily fit on all size earlobes. They also sell amazing solo crystals. Each piece description includes the crystal or gemstone’s metaphysical properties as well, which means that you can choose a stone with the perfect properties for your perfect someone for Valentine’s Day. This is such a cute way to personalize their gift!
OHME Size Inclusive Jewelry
OHME is a feminist fat-positive jewelry brand! Their plus size rings are all hand-made so each one of a little bit different, just like all of the real chests and vulvas of the word. They sell plus size rings in sizes 5-13 and this fat bod necklace comes on a 32″ inch chain. To say I’m obsessed with the fat babe and fuck the patriarchy earrings is a massive understatement. If your loved one is a badass babe who wants to make a statement with the pieces they wear, any of these would make a great Valentine’s Day gift!
POIRIER Size Inclusive Jewelry for Valentine’s Day
Poirier carries plus size rings sizes 7-14, adjustable plus size necklace chains from 16″-20″, adjustable plus size bracelets from 6.5″-9.5″, and gorgeous earrings. This brand is plus size woman owned and has our plus size interests in mind when creating size inclusive jewelry from sizes to stone and detail proportions. Chances are if you’re shopping for a plus size babe for Valentine’s Day, they have heard of Poirier and have a crush on their pieces!

When you go to buy one of their luxe ankle bracelets you have the option to get an extender built-in with your purchase. I am also happy to see ring sizes from 5 to 13 and gorgeous matching earrings!
Zaleska Jewelry
Zaleska has some seriously dreamy pieces in their collection! I especially love their plus size rings like the heart pendant “self love club” ring and this gorgeous silver moonstone ring. Their rings go up to size 15! They also have matching pieces like earrings and necklaces. I love the sphere drop earrings and the labradorite zodiac necklace.

Products to Make Your Current Jewelry Size Inclusive
If you want to try to size up your current jewelry, here are some tools you can try. I love getting necklace and bracelet extenders for my cheaper jewelry. Cheap jewelry comes in fun designs and costume styles that you can’t always find with more luxe metals and brands, so buying a pack of extenders is an easy and cheap way to make those styles work for you! If you are buying earrings from any major brand in the $5-$20 range you can most likely take the backing off and replace it with longer posts by using hot glue! I have never tried a ring stretcher, but I did find one on my quest for size inclusive jewelry. So far I’ve read that it can only take your ring up a half size and it can only be used on plain bands with stones or engraving.

Plus Size Inclusive Jewelry
Let me know if you try out any of these brands or the tools I shared. I’d love to see the look on your loved one’s faces when they open their precious gift. Or your face when you open the gift you bought for you! Treat yourself! Here’s hoping that more size inclusive jewelry brands pop up this year and the industry keeps growing and changing!
