Style a Silk Scarf 3 Ways
Hi Fly Friends! I’m stopping by the blog-o-sphere to give you a quick style session on silk scarves. I was gifted this gorgeous silk Kate Spade scarf from Zappos and challenged myself to style it three ways. This silk scarf would make a gorgeous gift for yourself or a loved one. You can find the scarf linked here for $88. Here is a similar option for $9 as well!
Silk Scarf Headband
This is a classic way to style a silk scarf that can also add some volume if your hair is feeling flat that day. You can tie it in a classic bow on top or flip the scarf so the tie is at the bottom and wear it like a classic headband. I also recommend tying this scarf over your ponytail elastic when wearing an updo!
Luxe Bag Charm
I love tying a silk scarf to my bag when I go out, especially a sold-colored bag like this one. This is a great way to display your scarf, bring color and pattern to a solid purse, and keep an accessory on you whenever you may need it! If you’re out and about and need to pull your hair up, you can untie the scarf from your bag and use it as a cute ponytail accessory as I mentioned earlier!
Classic Style
Just like with this bag, a colorful and patterned scarf can bring so much to a monochrome outfit! I even tied in my lipstick to this color scheme for an extra pop. Around the neck is the most obvious way to style a scarf, but I feel like we don’t think of silk scarves as our typical everyday accessory. I hope this style session inspires you to try it out!
The Full Look
You don’t think I’d just leave you hanging without giving you the full outfit deets, do you? Here’s the long-sleeve midi-length ribbed dress in cream for $100, my must-have white sneakers for $27, this gorgeous cream-colored bag on sale for $25, and even the earrings I’m rocking in these photos for $38!

See you next time!
